Global Connect is an IETM programme created with and supported by the IETM Associate Members, built on our vision of an inclusive, diverse, accessible and eco-responsible network and a global IETM community. 

In September 2025, IETM launched its fifth international open call to participate in the 2026 Global Connect programme, which resulted in over 250 impressive applications from professionals based in 77 countries.

We are thrilled to announce the 10 Global Connectors selected for 2026; a diverse group of performing arts powerhouses based across five continents. They have been selected for their unique experience of bridging their local communities through their work, artistic practices and expertise, including indigenous practices, activism, social transformation and support for emerging makers in their communities.

Through the Global Connect programme, they will come together, online and physically, to share their experiences and build relationships within the group and with their fellow IETM members. 

We are very proud to welcome them and look forward to the contributions, inspirations and questions they will bring to IETM over the next five years.

Meet the Global Connectors 2026

The Global Connectors 2026 will meet physically at the IETM Oulu Plenary Meeting, have been granted a 5-year IETM membership (2026 - 2030) and will participate in exclusive online sessions in the lead-up to the Plenary, including recording the very first podcast series for the programme.
